I haven't tried that myself yet, but if you have PS enabled in your environment, it's a solid option and worth looking into. I recently had to do something similar for Cisco Jabber.since doing it the manual way (described below), I learned that Powershell Deployment Toolkit can apparently search for a product name in Add/Remove Programs and uninstall apps automatically in the pre-installation steps. As a general rule, if someone has flair, they almost definitely know what they're talking about.
